Materials & method
• Each folded card is made from European 200 gsm cotton rag paper, machine made, yet full of the charm and imperfections of handmade paper.
• The paper contains no lignin, ensuring it remains soft white and strong without yellowing or becoming brittle over time.
• Foliage and flowers are foraged or picked from the garden at Thrums, carefully chosen and pressed to preserve their natural beauty.
• Each bloom is adhered using an adhesive I make by hand from wheat starch, cooked and prepared using traditional Japanese techniques.
• Each card measures approximately 50 x 100 mm (height x width) when folded, perfectly sized for a name, message or quiet touch of decoration.
• Sold in a box of ten, thoughtfully wrapped to ensure they arrive in beautiful condition.
