Materials & method
• Crafted from European 200 gsm cotton rag paper — machine made, yet full of the character and warmth of handmade paper.
• The paper contains no lignin, ensuring it will remain beautiful and strong for years without yellowing or becoming brittle.
• Each piece of foliage is foraged or picked from the garden at Thrums, chosen for its shape, texture and grace.
• The foliage is carefully attached using an adhesive I make by hand from wheat starch, cooked and prepared using traditional Japanese methods.
• Finished with a simple linen thread tie so the card can be attached to a gift, or kept as a delicate keepsake in its own right.
• Each card measures approximately 50 x 100 mm (height x width) when folded.
