• Made from European 200gsm cotton rag paper, machine made, yet full of the rich texture and character of handmade paper. The paper is lignin-free, ensuring it remains soft white and strong over time.
• Each card features foliage foraged or picked from the garden at Thrums, pressed gently by hand.
• The foliage is secured with Venetian red sealing wax, made in Italy from natural resins and pigments using a traditional recipe.
• Each seal is stamped with a wheat sheaf, an ancient symbol of longevity and prosperity.
• Cards measure approximately 50 x 100 mm when folded and are tied with a simple linen thread, ready to attach to a gift.
• The thread can be removed, allowing the card to double as an elegant place card at the table.
